The European Federation of Green
Parties (EFGP) represents Green Parties throughout Europe.
Today the Federation is made up of 32 Green member parties
in 29 European countries. It facilitates communication between
member parties, Green Parliamentarians and Ministers. It
coordinates Green European policy and supports small Green
parties in order to strengthen the Green political movement
in Europe as a whole. The European Federation of Green Parties
is one of the Founding Federations of the Global Green Coordination
(Canberra, April 2001). Many of its member parties took
part in the Global
Green Gathering in Canberra in April 2001.
