working group
THE IMPACT OF DIFFERENT ELECTORAL SYSTEMS ON THE POLITICS,STRATEGY AND 'SUCCESS' OF GREEN PARTIES IN THE EFGP AND THE US

introduction

Without in depth knowledge of how different electoral systems work, it is difficult to assess the impact of the system itself on any particular Green Party. The aim of this workshop is to share information which specialists in this field have researched and at the same time to give participants from as many countries as possible the opportunity to speak from their first hand experience. It is hoped that this will result in a greater degree of understanding between member parties and respect for the positions they adopt.
